Abstracts in Graphite

Sometimes, I want to play with contrasts, patterns, lines, and illusions without the precision of detailing portraits. I can explore that MC Escher-esque aesthetic with black and white graphite abstracts. If the gradual or sudden flipping of the fore- and background, the inversion of perspective, and fading in and out of a tone intrigues my eye, the job is done.
